Born September 17, 1959, in Seattle, WA; married Suzanne (an author and artist); children: Jake. Education: Attended the University of Washington; trained in Wushu, Tae Kwon Do, and karate.

Career: Actor. Champions Martial Arts (a dojo), owner and teacher, 1995; Second place in forms and weapons, 1983; First place in weapons, 1984; WAKO World Champion in Forms and Weapons, 1987; five time grand champion at the U.S. World and U.S. Open Karate Tournaments.

Awards, Honors: Black Belt Magazine competitor of the year, 1985; named Weapons Competitor of the Decade; member of the Black Belt Hall of Fame, The Inside Kung-Fu Hall of Fame, and The Fighter Hall of Fame.
