Description: Independent, comprehensive, coed. Awards bachelor's and master's degrees. Founded 1782. Setting: 120-acre small town campus with easy access to Baltimore and Washington, DC. Community Environment: Chestertown is on the eastern shore of Maryland, 40 miles from Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The community facilities include churches and numerous civic and service organizations. Boating, fishing and hunting are some of the outdoor sports of the area.
