UPE/ACM Scholarship Awards (Graduate, Undergraduate/A ward/Prize)

Purpose: To encourage academic excellence for students in the computing discipline. To raise the importance of academic achievement and professional commitment in our future computer professionals. Focus: Computer and information sciences. Qualif.: Applicant must be a graduate or undergraduate students, who are ACM members and members of the ACM student chapter at their academic institution. Criteria: Applicants will be selected based on their application form and other supporting documents.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicant must submit a three letter of recommendation (one letter indicating class rank from Department Chair or Advisor); must have a certificate copy of the three years (minimum) official academic transcripts; must have a statement of your participation in the ACM student chapter at their academic institution. Application forms are available in the website address and must be sent together with the other application materials to: ACM Local Activities, 1515 Broadway, New York, NY 10036.

Purpose: To promote computing sciences and to encourage its contribution to the enhancement of knowledge. Focus: Computer and information sciences. Qualif.: Applicant must be in graduate or undergraduate student levels. Criteria: Application form and other documents will be evaluated by the Executive Council of UPE.
