Description: Independent, 4-year, coed. Awards associate and bachelor's degrees. Founded 1890. Setting: 70-acre suburban campus with easy access to Hartford. Endowment: $1.3 million. Community Environment: Waterbury is a city of approximately 110,000, located in the northwest part of the state. There are three other colleges in the area and 15 other institutions of higher learning within a 30-minute drive. The Greater Waterbury area offers ample opportunities for cultural, athletic, and recreational activities.
