Description:

Independent interdenominational, 4-year, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1878. Setting: 60-acre urban campus. Endowment: $12.5 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $6872 per student. Total enrollment: 988. Faculty: 120 (52 full-time, 68 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 12:1. 802 applied, 81% were admitted. 17% from top 10% of their high school class, 41% from top quarter, 69% from top half. 8 valedictorians, 72 student government officers.
