NGPA Education Fund Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide educational assistance to students pursuing aviation careers as professional pilots. Focus: Aviation. Qualif.: Applicants must be pursuing a career in the field of aviation; must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited college or university with an aviation related curriculum (aerospace; aerodynamics; engineering and airport management) in pursuit of a degree leading to a career as a professional pilot or undergoing a course of study in recognized professional pilot aviation training program in an institution of higher learning, aviation technical school or government approved flight school; must have demonstrated community involvement, including support of the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender (GLBT) community. Criteria: Recipients are chosen based on academic record, work experience, financial need, extra curricular activities and community involvement.

Applicants must submit a formal application; academic records; list of work experience, extra curricular activities and or/community activities/honors/awards; proof of financial need; letter of recommendation; and essay on personal goals.
