Jamail/Long Challenge Grant Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote communication and to support networking; to serve as a voice for university, educational,

professional and cultural Hispanic issues; to promote career growth, development and initial employment; and to provide opportunities for social and cultural interaction for Hispanic professionals. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Hispanic students enrolled as full-time undergraduate, graduate or transfer students at the University of Texas, Austin; must maintain satisfactory progress toward completion of their degree requirements as determined by the regular procedures of the Texas Exes. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must complete the online Continuing & Transfer Scholarship Application provided by the Office of Student Financial Services. Applicants must select “Texas Exes Scholarships” on the “Scholarship Choices” page of the application and then enter the correct scholarship code, ESA-HISPANIC, in the space provided. Deadline: March 1.
