Description:

Province-supported, university, coed. Awards bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Founded 1964. Setting: 540-acre urban campus with easy access to Toronto. Research spending 2003-04: $7.8 million. Total enrollment: 15,527. Faculty: 490 (all full-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 21:1. 28,688 applied, 13% were admitted. Students come from 8 provinces and territories, 66 other countries, 16% live on campus. Core. Calendar: Canadian standard year.
