Armenian American Citizen's League Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be permanent residents of the United States who have been living in California for at least two years and are enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university; minimum GPA of 3.0 (B average) is required. Criteria: Awards will be based on financial need, academic achievement and involvement in school and community services.

Purpose: To provide financial support to those students who are pursuing pharmacy. Focus: Pharmacy. Qualif.: Applicants must be students of Armenian descent, pursuing a baccalaureate of pharmacy, doctor of pharmacy, or graduate degree program at a College of Pharmacy in the commonwealth of Massachusetts, Connecticut or Rhode Island. Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students of Armenian descent who are enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Arts degree program at Mt. Holyoke College; must maintain over a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. Criteria: Priority will be given to those students with financial need.

George & Isabelle Elanjian Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be incoming freshmen students or enrolled for at least one year at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Criteria: Preference will be given to those who meet the criteria.

Qualif.: Applicants must be willing to pledge to work as a minister, evangelist, missionary, or youth director after graduation; must study in one of the institutions of Emmanuel Bible College. Qualif.: Applicants must have completed their first academic year in college or university in California; must be pursuing one of the above field of studies. Criteria: Preference will be given to those who meet the criteria.

Hai Guin Scholarships Association (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students of Armenian descent, must reside in and attend school in Massachusetts. Criteria: Preference will be granted to a college student who has completed the first semester of freshman year; selection based on scholarship achievement and financial need.

Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be sophomores or above who are enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university. Criteria: Awards will be based on academic merit and financial need; preference will be given to those applicants whose immediate family has not previously received a scholarship.

Remarks: Calouste Sarkis Gulbenkian was an Armenian businessman and philanthropist, he played a major role in making the petroleum reserves of the Middle East available to Western development. By the end of his life he had become one of the world's wealthiest individuals and his art acquisitions are considered one of the greatest private collections. Sophia Hagopian Memorial Fund (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help those students who demonstrate extreme financial need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students of Armenian descent demonstrating financial need; must provide service to the community by being involved in Armenian organizations and/or activities; and must be full-time students in their junior or senior year of undergraduate studies at an accredited California college or university. Criteria: Awards will be given to those who demonstrate financial need.

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be affiliated with St. James Armenian Church by being a graduate of the Sunday school, a Sunday school teacher, a church choir member for at least one year, or in some other way acceptable to the scholarship committee. Criteria: Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, financial need, service to school, community and church and seriousness of purpose.

Union of Marash Armenian Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to those students who are in need. Focus: General Studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be matriculated, full-time undergraduate or graduate students accepted at an accredited institution of higher education. Must demonstrate academic excellence; be of good moral character; be in financial need; and show

involvement in community; and must be a descendant of a Marashtsi (a part of Armenia/Asia Minor). Criteria: Preference will be given to those who meet the criteria.
