ABA Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To recognize and stimulate interest in birds. To promote the pursuit of educational and other bird-related activities. Focus: Animal science and behavior; Animal rights. Qualif.: Scholarship is open to American Birding Association active members only. Criteria: Scholarship recipients will be selected based on scholastic ability, professional interest, character and financial need.
Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit a complete application form available from the ABA office and can be downloaded from the website; an essay about the importance of a bird; a letter of recommendation from a teacher, bird club member or mentor.
