Taché, Eugène-Étienne (1836–1912). Canadian architect. Among his works may be cited the Hôtel du Parlement (1876–87—based on a plan derived from Fuller's Ottawa Parliament Building, but with elevations in a French Second Empire style, drawing on precedents from the Louvre, Paris), the Court-House (1883–7—also SecondEmpire), and the Armoury Building (1884–8—in the château style), all in Québec City.
