Lock, Adam

Lock, Adam (fl. 1215–29). English master-mason, known for his work at Wells Cathedral, Som. He was in charge of the building of the second work of the nave, west of the north porch, and he probably carved the detail of the first Lady Chapel at St Augustine's Abbey (now Cathedral), Bristol (1218–20).
