Krumpper, Johann ( Hans Krumpper) (c.1570–1635). Architect of the somewhat ungainly Renaissance façade of Sustris's Hofkirche (Court Church) of St Michael, Munich (1583–97). Other works include the tower of the Stiftskirche (monasterychurch) at Polling, the high altar of the Charterhouse at Prüll, near Regensburg (1607), the Paulanerkirche, Munich (1621–3— destroyed), the Pfarrkirche (parish-church), Dachau (1624–5), and several funerary monuments, notably that of Duke Ludwig IV (d. 1347) in the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), Munich (1621–2).
