oxybutynin (oksi-bew-tin-in) n. an antimuscarinic drug administered orally or in skin patches to reduce frequency and urgency of passing urine associated with an unstable bladder or overactivity of the detrusor muscle of the bladder wall. Trade names: Cystrin, Ditropan, Kentera, Lyrinel.
