hyperandrogenism
hyperandrogenism (hy-per-an-droj-in-izm) n. excessive secretion of androgen in women. It is associated with hirsutism, acne, sparse or infrequent menstruation (oligomenorrhoea), metrorrhagia, absent or infrequent ovulation, infertility, endometrial hyperplasia, hyperlipidaemia, hyperglycaemia, and hypertension.
