Bonney's blue
Bonney's blue (bon-iz) n. a dye consisting of a mixture of crystal violet and brilliant green. It is used as a skin disinfectant and to demonstrate the presence of a fistula, by instilling it via a cannula and tracing its path. [ W. F. V. Bonney (1872–1953), British gynaecologist]
