In Doing Less and Having More: Five Easy Steps for Discovering What You Really Want, and Getting It Wieder illustrates how readers can achieve their goals and find peace by following her five step program. A reviewer in Publishers Weekly reported that these steps are: "discovering your passion, defining your dreams, identifying and choosing your beliefs, performing small tasks to advance your goals, and building a team of supportive people." The book stresses the importance of healthy living and meditation and has exercises dispersed throughout. Personal narratives are also included and the book concludes with inspirational quotations.
