Dozens of other cookbooks followed, including Dining out in Any Language (1956; revised edition, 1962), The Complete Book of Oriental Cooking (1960), and The Casserole Cookbook (1963), as well as travel guides such as Travel Guide to Europe (1960; revised edition, 1966) and Myra Waldo's Travel and Motoring Guide to Europe (1964; seventh edition, 1979). During the late 1960s, Waldo also worked for Macmillan Publishing as a special-projects director, and from 1968 to 1972 she was the food and travel editor for WCBS in New York City. She continued actively writing into the 1980s, releasing such titles as Classic Cuisines (1984) and Myra Waldo's Travel Guide to the South Pacific (1981); she also contributed to the Los Angeles Times travel section as a columnist in the 1980s, as well as serving as food editor to the Baltimore Sun.
