SIDELIGHTS:
Mary Fishback told CA: "Genealogy is a passion with me! I have volunteered for the Thomas Balch History and Genealogy Library for nearly thirty years. Some of that time was dedicated to save the 1922 library building from being destroyed. Today, since the Town of Leesburg took over the library, Balch Library is one of the premier history and genealogy libraries in the state of Virginia. After a twenty-six-year nursing career, I have found the perfect venue for my second career in teaching genealogy and history writing."
