Zeidman, Boris

Zeidman, Boris, Russian composer and pedagogue; b. St. Petersburg, Feb. 10,1908; d. Tashkent, Dec. 30, 1981. He studied composition at the Leningrad Cons, with Maximilian Steinberg, graduating in 1931, and then taught music in various schools in Russia, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan.
