Viola, P. Anselm, Catalan composer; b. Teruel, July 1738; d. Montserrat, Jan. 25,1798. He was a monk at Montserrat. He wrote much instrumental music of surprising excellence in a fine Baroque style. His Concerto for 2 Oboes, 2 Horns, Violins, and Cellos obbligato is included in D. Pujol, ed., Música instrumental (Vol. II, Montserrat, 1936).
