Sugár, Rezsõ

Sugár, Rezsõ, Hungarian composer and teacher; b. Budapest, Oct. 9, 1919; d. there, Sept. 22, 1988. He was a pupil of Kodály at the Budapest Academy of Music (1937-42). He taught in Budapest at the Bela Bartók Cons. (1949-68); from 1968 to 1980 he taught at the Academy of Music.
