Sklavos, George, Greek composer and teacher; b. Brailov, Romania (of Greek parents), Aug. 20, 1888; d. Athens, March 19, 1976. He studied with Armand Marsick at the Athens Cons., where he was an instructor (1913–68). He devoted himself chiefly to the musical theater.
