Sekles, Bernhard

Sekles, Bernhard, German conductor, composer, and teacher; b. Frankfurt am Main, March 20, 1872; d. there, Dec. 8, 1934. He studied with Knorr and Uzielli at the Hoch Cons. in Frankfurt am Main, where he became a prof. of theory in 1896. From 1923 to 1933 he was director of the Cons.
