Sárközy, István
SàrkÖzy, István, Hungarian composer and teacher; b. Erzsébetfalva, Nov. 26, 1920. He was a student of Farkas and Szatmári, and of Kodály and Viski at the Budapest Academy of Music. From 1957 to 1960 he was ed.-in-chief for music with Editio Musica Budapest. In 1959 he became a teacher of theory at the Budapest Academy of Music.
