Raimon de Miraval
Raimon de Miraval , Provençal troubadour who flourished from 1180 to 1215. He was a member of the lesser nobility and spent much of his time in the circle of aristocratic patrons in the south of France. Some 48 chansons have been attributed to him, 22 of which are extant with melodies.
