Nilsson, Leo
Nilsson, Leo, Swedish composer; b. Malmö, Feb. 20, 1939. He studied organ and music pedagogy at the Stockholm Musikhögskolan (1958–62). After working at the electronic-music studio of the ORTF in Paris, he returned to Sweden and was active in electronic-music circles; collaborated with Ralph Lundsten for a time, and also organized his own electronic-music studio in Skäne; taught at the Stockholm Musikshögskolan (from 1982). He composed various experimental works utilizing electronics.
