Logar, Mihovil

Logar, Mihovil, Croatian composer; b. Rijieka, Oct. 6,1902. He went to Prague to study with Jirák and then attended Suk’s master classes. In 1927 he settled in Belgrade, where he was a prof. of composition at the Academy of Music (1945-72). In his works, he employed a restrained modern idiom.
