Donati, Ignazio

Donati, Ignazio, Italian composer; b. Casalmaggiore, near Parma, c. 1575; d. Milan, Jan. 21, 1638. He served as maestro di cappella at Urbino Cathedral (1596–98; 1612–15), Pesaro (1600), Fano (1601–05), the Accademia dello Spirito Santa in Ferrara (1616), Casalmaggiore (1618–23), Novara Cathedral (1623–29), Lodi Cathedral (1629–30), and Milan Cathedral (1631–38).
