Cafaro, Pasquale
Cafaro, Pasquale, Italian composer; b. San Pietro in Galatina, Lecce, Feb. 8, 1716; d. Naples, Oct. 23, 1787. He studied at the Naples Cons., where he was made secondo maestro in 1759; he also was maestro di cappella soprannumeriario (1768–71) and then primo maestro (from 1771) of the Royal Chapel.
