Solid TV adaptation of the Henry James novel boasts some fine performances in a now familiar story. Miss (May) is the young, tooimpressionable governess at Bly manor, whose charges are the overly wellbehaved Miles (Sowerbutts) and his younger sister, Flora (Robinson). Soon Miss is seeing ghosts—those of the former governess and another servant, Peter Quint (Salkey), whom she believes are corrupting her innocent children. But maybe the emotional young woman is simply crazy. 80m/C VHS, DVD .
