Family Man
Family Man ★★ 2000 (PG-13)
With the help of a guardian angel/taxi driver (Cheadle), money-loving investment banker Jack Campbell (Cage) gets to see how life could have been if he'd married college sweetie Leoni, had kids, and was living in New Jersey and working as a tire salesman. Lost in this new world of responsibility and funnel cakes, Jack can't help but pine for his old life. But, in the end, will he choose ambition and “freedom” over love? Darker and not as tidy as “It's a Wonderful Life,” its obvious inspiration, “Family Man” seeks to teach Jack a lesson we see coming miles off. 125m/C VHS, DVD .
