The In Crowd ★★ 2000 (PG-13)

Having been cured of her “erotomania,” pretty, young Adrien (Heuring) is released from a psychiatric hospital, and, on the advice of her doctor, gains employment for the summer at a seaside country club. There Adrien is confronted by the in crowd, which is led by the ultra bitchy (what other name would suffice?) Brittany (Ward), who, with clearly ulterior motives, befriends the lovely Adrien. As Adrien is introduced to the ways of the privileged, things become stranger and stranger as our heroine discovers some unpleasant things about her new acquaintance. 98m/C VHS, DVD . Susan Ward, Lori Heuring, Matthew Settle, Nathan Bexton, Tess Harper, Laurie Fortier, Kim Murphy; D: Mary Lambert; W: Mark Gibson, Philip Halprin; C: Tom Priestley; M: Jeff Rona.
