Bio-Dome ★ 1996 (PG-13)
Pauly Shore in a hermetically sealed environment separated from the rest of society? Great! Where do I sign? Unfortunately, it's only a movie, and a typically useless one, at that. Shore brings his lame schtick to a scientifically created “perfect environment” that he and his college (yeah, right) buddy Doyle (Baldwin) mistake for a mall and eventually destroy. In Bloom's nottooauspicious directorial debut, bodily function jokes found in Jim Carrey's wastebasket masquerade as a script, while the supporting cast wanders aimlessly, perhaps pondering a switch in agents. 94m/C VHS, DVD . Jack Black, Kyle Gass, Pauly Shore, Stephen Baldwin, William Atherton, Henry Gibson, Joey Lauren Adams, Teresa Hill, Kylie Minogue, Kevin West, Denise Dowse, Dara Tomanovich; D: Jason Bloom; W: Kip Koenig, Scott Marcano; C: Phedon Papamichael; M: Andrew Gross. Golden Raspberries '96: Worst Actor (Shore).
