All of Me
All of Me ★★½ 1984 (PG)
A wealthy woman (Tomlin) dies and her guru accidentally transfers her soul to the right side of her lawyer's body, a modern version of existential hell. Lawyer Martin indulges in some funny slapstick as he discovers that his late client is waging an internal war for control of his body. Flat and cliched at times, but redeemed by the inspired clowning of Martin and witty Martin/ Tomlin repartee. Based on the novel “Me Too” by Ed Davis. 93m/C VHS, DVD . Steve Martin, Lily Tomlin, Victoria Tennant, Madolyn Smith, Richard Libertini, Dana Elcar, Selma Diamond, Jason Bernard, Eric Christmas, Peggy (Margaret) Feury; D: Carl Reiner; W: Phil Alden Robinson; C: Richard H.
