Saint. Flourished in the 6th century.

Monegunde, a native of Chartres, led the life of a recluse in Chartres and then in Tours, near the tomb of St. Martin of Tours. Bishop Gregory of Tours wrote her biography. Monegunde's feast day is July 2.
