Princess of Reuss. Born on September 17, 1887, in Greiz, Germany; died on August 7, 1947, in Frankfurt-am-Oder, Germany; daughter of Henry XXII (1846–1902), prince of Reuss, and Ida of Schaumburg-Lippe (1852–1891); married Johann Georg (1873–1920), prince of Schönaich-Carolath, on January 7, 1907; became second wife of Wilhelm II, emperor of Germany (r. 1888–1918), on November 5, 1922; children: (first marriage) Henrietta of Schönaich-Carolath (1918–1972, who married Charles Francis Joseph, prince of Prussia).
