Dahlbeck, Eva (1920—)
Swedish actress, best known for her work in films of Ingmar Bergman. Born in Saltsjö-Duvnäs, Sweden, on March 8, 1920; trained at Royal Dramatic Theater, Stockholm.

Eva Dahlbeck made her stage debut in 1941. In 1958, she was named Best Actress at Cannes Festival for her performance in Ingmar Bergman's Brink of Life. A writer as well as an actress, she has also written a play, a film script, a book of poetry, and more than ten novels.
