Spanish poet and novelist. Name variations: Olga Xirinacs Diaz. Born 1936 in Tarragona, Spain.

Catalan writer, studied and taught piano; is the only woman who has been awarded the title Mestre en Gai Saber (Master in the Art of Poetry) in the Barcelona Jocs; poetry collections include Botons de tiges (1977), Clau de blau (1978), Lençol de noces (1979), Preparo el te sota palmeres rogues (1981), Marina (1986), and Muralla (1993); novels include Música de cambra (1982), Interior amb difunts (1983), Al meu cap una llosa (1985), Enteraments lleugers (1991), Xocolata (1994), La tarda a Venècia (1999) and L'escrivent de làpides (2002).
