American murderer. Name variations: Bridget Fury. Possibly born in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Reportedly became prostitute at age 12 in Cincinnati; known as Bridget Fury, worked in Mary Jane (Bricktop) Jackson's brothel in New Orleans' French Quarter, and was noted for her violence; sentenced to life imprisonment for the 1858 axe-murder of customer who wouldn't meet her price.
