Stenina, Valentina (1936–)
Russian speedskater. Born Valentina Sergeyevna Miloslavova, Dec 29, 1936, in Bobryusk (now Belarus); m. Boris Stenin (champion skater, died 2001).
At World championships, won a silver medal (1959) and gold medals (1960, 1961, 1966), all for allround; won a silver medal at Squaw Valley Olympics (1960) and a silver at Innsbruck Olympics (1964), both for the 3,000 meters; won 4 Soviet titles; retired (1968).
