Reeves, Connie (1901–2003)

American cowgirl. Born Constance Douglas, Sept 26, 1901, in Eagle Pass, TX; died Aug 17, 2003, in San Antonio, TX, age 101, 12 days after being thrown from her horse; graduate of Texas Women's University; was one of the 1st women to study law at University of Texas; m. Jack Reeves (rodeo star), 1942 (died 1985); no children.

Managed a ranch and taught riding for 67 years. Inducted into National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame (1997).
