Pashley, Anne (1935–)

English runner and soprano. Born June 5, 1935, in Skegness, England; studied at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

At Melbourne Olympics, won a silver medal in the 4 × 100-meter relay (1956); made stage debut (1959) with Handel Opera Society in Semele; appeared at Glyndebourne (1963) and Covent Garden (1965); sang with English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Scottish Opera, and at Aldeburgh.
