Paraskevin-Young, Connie (1961–)

American cyclist and speedskater. Name variations: Connie Paraskevin; Connie Anne Young. Born Constance Anne Paraskevin, July 4, 1961, in Detroit, MI; m. Roger Young (cycling coach).

At Seoul Olympics, won a bronze medal in the 1,000-meter sprint (1988); was 4-time World champion; was US national speedskating champion. Inducted into Bicycling Hall of Fame (2003).
