Maryland printer. Name variations: Dinah Devoran; Dinah Oley. Born in Anne Arundel County, MD; m. William Nuthead (died 1695); m. Manus Devoran, c. 1700 (died Dec 1700); m. Sebastian Oley (died 1707); children: (1st m.) William and Susannah Nuthead; (3rd m.) Sebastian Oley.
Took over husband's printing business, The Nuthead Press, in St. Mary's City, MD, after his death; when license was granted by Maryland House of Representatives, became 1st woman in US officially licensed to operate printing press (1696); primarily printed forms for government; considered one of 1st important printers in MD.
