Morgantini, Luisa (1940–)

Italian politician. Born Nov 5, 1940, in Villadossola, Italy.

One of the founders of the Women in Black antiwar movement and the international network, Women for Peace in Conflict Zones; representing the Confederal Group of the European United Left/Nordic Green Left (GUE/NGL), elected to 5th European Parliament (1999–2004). Awarded Israeli "Women in Black" Peace Prize (1996).
