Manley, Dorothy (1927–)

English runner. Name variations: Dorothy Gladys Hall. Born Dorothy Gladys Manley, April 29, 1927, in London, England.

Trained as a high jumper, before becoming a sprinter; was Essex County 100-yards champion (1947, 1948, 1949); won 100-meters silver medal at London Olympics (1948).
