American stage, tv, and screen actress. Name variations: Harriet E. MacGibbon. Born Oct 5, 1905, in Chicago, IL; died Feb 8, 1987, in Beverly Hills, CA; m. Charles C. White (died); m. William R. Kane (div.).

Made Broadway debut in Beggar on Horseback (1928), followed by Ringside, The Marriage Bed, Houseparty, Midnight, The Inside Story, Our Betters, Lightnin' and The Ladies of the Corridor, among others; probably best remembered as Mrs. Drysdale on tv series "Beverly Hillbillies."
