Born c. 1622; dau. of Sir Robert Killigrew; sister of the duke of York's chaplin (the duke of York later became James II, king of England); m. Francis Boyle, later 1st Viscount Shannon; mistress of Charles II (1630–1685), king of England (r. 1661–1685); children: (with Charles II) Charlotte Jemima Henrietta Maria Fitzroy or Fitzcharles (1651–1684, who m. James Howard, earl of Suffolk, and William Paston, 2nd earl of Yarmouth).
