Scottish poet and translator. Flourished in Scotland c. 1644; dau. of David Hume of Godscroft (c. 1560–c. 1630).

Translated The Triumph of Love: Chastitie: Death: Translated out of Petrarch by Mrs. Anne Hume (1644), which contains explanatory notes that display her wide reading and learning; edited father's work The History of the Houses of Douglas and Angus (1644).
